testing what? mostly browser-quirks :( and the css-design-possibilities :) in html. thats the reason why the code is

* without tables
* without browser workarounds,
i am too tired for that ...
all styles are written into the page (easy for copy or saveing). feel free to copy the code, it's open source.
this page uses valid CSS! and
valid HTML 4.01!
test it.
